Composite tooth colored filling Spear educational video

Composite (tooth-colored) is a type of filling material that is both esthetic and durable and allows the dentist to conserve as much tooth structure as possible when preparing the tooth. When placing a composite restoration, a bonding agent is applied to facilitate the seal between the tooth surface and the composite material. The filling is hardened with a curing light, giving the patient the ability to return to normal eating and drinking as soon as possible.

In addition to composite fillings, we offer amalgam (metal/silver) fillings. These fillings can be placed at the patient's request in place of a composite filling.

  • Best dentist I have ever been to! I just moved to Buffalo and I have never been to this dentist before. I called them with an emergency painful tooth. Without question they got me in right away, made sure that my insurance covered the visit for me. Diagnosed the problem and were able to take care of the problem all in the same day. My out of pocket was the cheapest I have ever had at the dentist! The staff and everyone there was extremely courteous and very friendly.
