Nitrous Oxide

Laughing gas is an analgesic, or anxiety reducing, substance that may be used during dental treatment. A nasal canula or nose piece is connected to a pump that delivers a mix of oxygen and nitrous oxide. A relaxed or calming feeling is experienced by those that use nitrous oxide, though sometimes tingling in the fingers and toes or a floating sensation is felt. Once the dental procedure is completed, pure oxygen is delivered for 5 minutes to flush out residual nitrous oxide. The effects dissipate almost immediately and one is able to drive home after its use.

  • Best dentist I have ever been to! I just moved to Buffalo and I have never been to this dentist before. I called them with an emergency painful tooth. Without question they got me in right away, made sure that my insurance covered the visit for me. Diagnosed the problem and were able to take care of the problem all in the same day. My out of pocket was the cheapest I have ever had at the dentist! The staff and everyone there was extremely courteous and very friendly.
